LOCATION Leavitt's Freight Service is located in Springfield, OR on eight acres. We have been at this site since 1967. The steady growth of our company was dictated that we add on to the original office. This addition took place in 1997. The new office totaled 3000 square feet of new space. During this process we remodeled the original office to bring it up to date with the new one. SHOP We have a full service maintenance shop. Our staff of mechanics are able to perform a verity of functions. From simple tasks such as changing a light bulb to a complete inframe engine overhaul. We also have a lube rack, tire bay, and perform front-end alignments. We do send some of our mechanical work to local shops. |
STORAGE With our large yard we have the capability to store orders for our customers. We have 3 large forklift trucks for off loading and reloading of material. SCALE Leavitt's Freight Service has a public scale that we make available for outside trucking companies to weigh trucks. We use this scale to make sure that all of our trucks are up to weight on all loads. Maximizing the payload of each movement thereby reducing the actual transportation cost to the customer. |
